Important Things to Know About “The Outer Space”

Here are a few things you should know about hosting your event at “The Outer Space” in The Bronx.
Daytime Bronx Events:
- The outer space primarily hosts events during the daytime that typically end around 8:00 pm on the weekends
Items for Sale:
- We do not allow the sale or pre-sale of any item, including admission, food, or beverages, during or before an event
Fire:
- No barbecuing (BBQ) or any other form of cooking
- No use of candles (excluding supervised use of birthday candles temporarily on a cake)
Nails, Screws, Hammers, or Drills:
- We do not allow the use of Nails or Screws or any similar items
- We do not allow the use of Hammers or Drills, or similar tools
Event Clean Up:
- Items provided by the host or guests, including garbage, decorations, and food, must be removed at the conclusion of an event.
Required Event Fees:
- We require a refundable $500 Incident & Clean-Up fee in addition to the non-refundable rental fee.
- In addition, we will refund the $500 Incident & Clean-UpĀ fee within 30 days of the event date if there are no incidents or damage and the clean-up is complete.
SUGGESTED ITEMS (NOT INCLUDED WITH RENTAL)
- Ice (Typically six or more bags)
- Disposable Paper Plates
- Disposable Paper Cups
- Disposable knives, forks, and spoons
- Napkins
- Paper Towel Rolls
- Table Cloths
- Dishwashing Liquid
- Dishwashing Scrubbing Sponge
- All Purpose Abrasive Powder Cleanser with Bleach
- Hand Sanitizer for use with both Mobile Toilet / Porta Potty
- One or more 10ft x 10ft (or larger) Pop-Up Canopy Tents (Ideal to cover outdoor food stations)
- A 10ft x 10ft (or larger) Pop-Up Canopy Tent (Ideal to cover an outdoor DJ)
INCLUDED (KIT & EXPENDABLES):
- One rolls of toilet paper per Mobile Toilet / Porta Potty (A total of two rolls)
- Two 6ft folding tables
- Four garbage cans, each with two trash bags
- One 150-Qt. Igloo Coolers (Ice not included)
- 1hr access to a hose with water during setup
